Wine competition The Champagne Master 2020 has just revealed all the medal-winners from the tasting of this year, and Henriot Brut Souverain, Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial, ad Piper-Heidsieck Cuvée Brut have won the gold medal in the £30-£50 non-vintage category.

Created and run by The Drinks Business magazine, The Champagne Masters competition is exclusively for Champagne wines.

The champagnes in this 2020 competition were judged by Patrick Schmitt MW, Michelle Cherutti-Kowal MW, and Simon Field MW.

The cuvées were judged using Schott Zwiesel Cru Classic glasses. The top wines were awarded Gold, Silver, or Bronze medals according to their result, and those expressions that stood out as being outstanding received the ultimate accolade–the title of Champagne Master.

Piper-Heidsieck also won the Master title for its Vintage 2012 in the £50+ vintage category, and the title of Champagne Master with Rare 2006 named the best champagne of 2020.
