Bollinger recently released a new cuvée: Bollinger PN VZ15, a Blanc de Noirs made of 100% Pinot Noir sourced for the most part from the Grand Cru vineyards in Verzenay (VZ) from the 2015 vintage.
PN VZ15 is the first in a series of annual releases to showcase a different cru/village with each cuvee exploring terroir in different years.
50% of the Pinot comes from Verzenay, from the 2015 vintage, to which Aÿ, Bouzy and Tauxières were added.
Verzenay brings the elegance, tension, and salinity of Pinot Noir from this cru while the other crus add aromatic complexity.
20% reserve wines and a dosage of 7 g/l were incorporated.
