Top Champagne House Krug and French manufacturer of fine silver flatware and home accessories Christofle merged their talents, creativity and know-how to create a new limited edition of Krug Grande Cuvée champagne.
This stylish and contemporary champagne case made of silver-plated metal, Christofle’ favorite element, displays fingerprints that make up writings evoking the identity and history of each Krug bottle.
A surprising feature of this unique format is that the case can be used as a dramatic candle lighting, with light passing through the carved fingerprints.
Just like Krug, Christofle was founded by a maverick.
In 1830 Charles Christofle, ahead of his times, moved towards silversmithery by fine-tuning silver-plaiting via electrolysis, to become one of the best silversmith under Napoléon III.
Today Christofle remains faithful to its founder’s spirit, characterized by modernity and innovation.
This limited edition champagne will be available at selected stores for about €1,500.
