The Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Championships (CSWWC) is now officially open for 2016 entries via

The CSWWC provides both consumers and trade with the definitive annual guide to the best champagnes and sparkling wines on the planet. 
The CSWWC is the first and only terroir-driven competition judged exclusively by internationally renowned sparkling wines experts, who all taste each and every wine submitted to guarantee consistency and accuracy of judging.The CSWWC was founded by Tom Stevenson, among the very best champagne experts and author of the “Tom Stevenson’s Champagne & Sparkling Wine Guide”, probably the most technically comprehensive guide on champagne ever written, with the support and expertise of Master Of Wine (MW) Essi Avellan, FINE Champagne Magazine’s Editor in Chief, and Dr. Tony Jordan, former Chief Executive for all of Moët Hennessy’s ventures throughout Australasia and the Americas.

About the 2016 CSWWC, Tom Stevenson comments: “In 2015 we welcomed 113 new producers and six new countries to the competition. We hope this trend will continue in 2016, when we look forward to receiving entries from sparkling wines of exceptional quality and value from all origins, styles and price points.”

Medal results will be released in July, 20176. All awards and tasting notes will also be published in “The Champagne & Sparkling Wine Guide 2017”.
